Drab denim

Sometimes, we Vancouverites get too eager and excited for spring and jinx it all. These photos were taken the day before we received over 5 inches of snow. Which is sad, because I was excited to start breaking in these damn adorable loafers. But, like every year here, they will have to wait for the non-shitty weather (a whole 2 months of the year). But, I was feeling confident and dared distressed denim and a simple t for casual yet still put together ensemble. This trusted denim jacket never fails me when I hope to add warmth and some somewhat ragged look. Right up my alley.

Rad Plaid

A simple look for those simple autumn days.
A fairly old outfit (from November) but I loved so much that I had to post.
Plaid skirt given to from my Mom! Love the look it gives.
I once had someone ask me if it was from American Apparel!
And the crop-top/thigh high combo adds some flirt.

Space

Hey everyone! Have a new outfit for you guys today!

Back to school season is upon us! With this comes class, and when i think of class one word comes to mind: comfort.

With this in mind, I threw together this outfit that will keep you comfortable all day, and won't make you suffer sitting in lecture hall (at least, not as much).

Big comfy sweat shirts, in terms of comfiness, are a no brainer. Especially when they have a rad stitched logo like this one. As well, I find that leggings and other kinds of pants made from soft material are the best to wear if you're going to be sitting in a cramped chair all day. These ones are particularly cool, due to their cut outs. The creepers add a good amount of edge as well. I also did my hair in one of my favourite styles at the moment, which is essentially a pulled back mini pony tail. Pull on a trusty denim jacket and we are good to go.

Work

Today I was lucky enough to have two job interviews. As I am extremely grateful for these opportunities, I wish to translate this feeling into a respectable outfit. Now, please keep in mind that these interviews were for semi-casual, entry-level jobs. This outfit is best for jobs as such. For more professional job opportunities, I recommend a more tailored outfit with perhaps a blouse or blazer.

However, for myself and these interviews I wish to keep my outfit fairly young and approachable but still kept-together.

I decided upon a fit-and flair, floral dress with a lower to mid thigh hemline and high halter-style neckline. I added a black cardigan for personal comfort, closed-toed flats, and one of my favourite sophisticated handbags.

(Of course I had to add some artsy photos in here)
