If you're nosey like me you're curious about these kinds of things. Here is my shoe collection in its entirety as of May 2018. With this post, I link all of the shoes that I could find online, and for the rest that I wasn't able to find the exact pair of, I found shoes that were as close as possible.
Hilariously enough, it wasn't until I started making this post that I realized my updated 2018 shoe collection only has 3 pairs of shoes that are neither black nor white (two of which are nude). I definitely need to have more fun with my shoes and experiment with some more colour. Now scroll away, judge as you may, and enjoy.
(Ps. while taking these pictures I forgot to photograph my thigh high boots, but you can see them here.)

Sneakers
Ever since I got them in New York at the end of
August, these Old Skool Vans have been my go-to.
Being black and white and incredibly comfy, I
know that I can wear them for practically any
occasion with any outfit.

I got these Steve Madden Casey black
Platform Sneakers in New York as well.
They are a satin-like material and add the
perfect 'oomf' to any outfit. They are also
perfect for evenings I want height but also
don't want to struggle in heels.

These classic Chuck Taylor All Star Classics
have been through a lot. I mean a lot a lot
(can you tell?) I think I got them back in
grade 10 and they were a staple for me for a
long time. I've tried bleaching and
cleaning them and nothing seems to work,
but I don't have to heart to let them go.

Some basic 2016 Nike Free RNs that are
the comfiest shoes on earth that I
occasionally wear to the gym. Nikes are a
stable for all Vancouverites.
For all who follow me on Instagram (@dsmitts)
and saw my story, you'll know that my dad and I
bought these matching checkerboard slip-ons
together. We both mentioned how much we liked them,
and I said how I wanted a pair,
and he said "Why don't we go get them?"
Sandals
These chunky black sandals are from a
random market in Bangkok and unfortunately has no
tangible markings to read. Along with this,
unfortunately these are hell to walk in and tear
up my feet like no tomorrow. But... they're cute, right?
These are my super comfortable black
leather sandals by Ecco that I originally got
for durability and quality but they grew on me
and now I genuinely love how they look and feel now.
I got these mini heeled Aldo Kerina
Cognac Flats specifically because I realized
that all my sandals, heels, and flats were all
black and I didn't have anything nude that would
streamline my legs and match any look!
Mules and Loafers
These Browns Shoes simple black mules quickly
became a staple once I finally broke them in.
They're sleek and minimalistic and quickly
became a staple for me.
I bought these flat nude mules from a
little shop in a Bangkok mall. Luckily the
sole of the shoes say that brand - Akata.
These shoes are hand-made, and we were lucky
enough to meet the owner and creator himself!
He was incredibly kind, and the shoes are
amazingly well-made. My sister and mother
and I all bought a pair of shoes from him,
and I honestly regret not getting another pair!
I got these Aldo Casetti Leather Loafers
during Boxing Week sales a last Christmas
before last and they are my go-to
slip-on simple shoes. They are genuine leather
and a bit scuffed up, but they are well-loved.
Heels
I got these heels four years ago from my
not-painful when I wore them for prom and
various other weddings and fancy occasions.
I love their simplicity and I can't bare the
thought of giving them away.
I bought these black, asymmetrical heels
from Material Girl when I was in grade 12
for my Winter Formal dance. Since then they have
been well worn, and I love their triangle
heel that gives them a differentiating feature.
I was so incredibly excited when I thrifted
these Topshop because I've been lusting
a thick heel and thick platform. These shoes
barely feel high at all when I wear them, but
they add a lot of height. They're perfect for
concerts, clubs, and other events that you
may want to be taller but still comfortable.
These are my mystery boots. I have no
idea what brand they are, I just know that
they're genuine leather. They're sleek, black
height. I appreciate the fact that they are slimly fit
around my ankles, because hate it when ankle boots gape.
Boots
I have a problem and already own so many
ankle boots- but here we are. Yet another
unable to find any brand or provider under
this name that makes shoes!
These are my thrifted black "grandma"
ankle boots by Rinaldi. They're thrifted and
possibly one of the comfiest shoes I own.
Unfortunately, both zippers broke within
an hour of each other one day randomly, and I've
been too cheap to go to a repair shop- but I
know I'll need to go before fall comes.
I got these Forever 21 boots several years
ago in I believe first year of University. My
style has changed a lot since then, but I still like
them and like to throw them on once in a while.
They're sort of cowboy boot-esc which is fun to style.
I made a post when I found these at Value
and are worth almost $300 Canadian. I got
them for 50% off $18 so you could imagine how
ecstatic I was when I went home and Googled the
brand. They are phenomenal quality and are
my staple throughout the fall and winter seasons.
Finding these boots was a moment
star-aligning fate, as I was talking about
how I wanted a pair of velvet boots right
before I went to the Value Village that I
These Cobb Hill Bethany boots are so
sturdy and such good quality that I can put
them through anything. They are beat up
and dusty but I know I can count on them.
I've had them for years and even though
they're all dirty up top, the heels are
barely scuffed which to me shows high quality.
Matte black 1460 Greasy 8-eye Dr. Martens.
Similar to the last pair by Cobb Hill,
these boots have been to hell and back and
barely show for it. I thought these were
the perfect pair to end this 2018 collection on.
